Privacy Policy

ClaimDraft PA is an AI-assisted gap analysis tool built for licensed public adjusters. You upload a carrier's Xactimate estimate and the homeowner's policy, and the service reads the estimate against the policy to surface potential omissions, underscoped line items, and coverage provisions worth a second look. The output is analytical assistance for a licensed professional — it is not a decision, an opinion, or a substitute for your own review.

We collect only what the service needs to operate:

• Documents you upload. Carrier estimates (typically Xactimate PDFs or ESX exports), policy documents, declarations pages, endorsements, and related claim correspondence. These may contain Nonpublic Personal Information (NPI) about the homeowner, including name, property address, policy number, and claim number.
• Account information. Your name, email address, firm or business name, and state(s) of operation.
• License attestation records. Access to ClaimDraft PA requires attesting that you hold an active public adjuster license. We store the attestation you sign, the license number and state you provide, and the date and time of the attestation.
• Waitlist information. If you join the waitlist, we store the name, email, and state you submit so we can contact you about availability.
• Operational logs. Timestamps, request metadata, and error diagnostics used to keep the service running and secure.

Document content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which performs the language analysis that produces your gap analysis. This means the text extracted from your uploaded estimate and policy — including any NPI contained in those documents — is transmitted to and processed by Anthropic as our subprocessor for the purpose of generating that analysis.

We use Anthropic's commercial API, under which submitted content is not used to train Anthropic's models. Anthropic's own data handling terms govern their processing. We do not send your documents to any other AI provider.

If a document contains information you do not want processed this way, redact it before uploading.

To generate your gap analysis, to store your analyses so you can return to them, to verify that access is limited to attesting licensed public adjusters, to provide support, to bill for the service, and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data, your documents, or your clients' information. We do not share it with insurance carriers, marketers, data brokers, lead-generation services, or any other third party for their own purposes.

The only parties that touch your data are the service providers we need to run the product — our cloud hosting and database provider, Anthropic for the analysis described above, and our payment processor for billing (which never receives your claim documents) — plus disclosure required by valid legal process.

Uploaded documents and generated analyses are retained for as long as your account is active, so that you can revisit prior work. You may delete an individual analysis and its source documents at any time. On request, we will delete your account and associated documents; attestation records and billing records are retained where required for legal and audit purposes.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is scoped per account by row-level database policies, and privileged operations are logged. See our Security & Data Protection page for the specific safeguards we maintain.

You may access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us. You may decline to upload any particular document; the service simply cannot analyze what it does not receive.

If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we will update this page and the effective date above, and notify account holders by email.
